Abstract :
Azobenzene dendrimer 2 was synthesized from a known dendritic azo-tetracarboxylic acid and a dendritic amine incorporating 1,2-isopropylidenefuranose rings, and its trans–cis isomerization was studied by UV–vis absorption spectroscopy.
