Abstract :
[Ir(COD)Cl]2/MeO-Biphep/I2 catalyst system is highly effective for asymmetric hydrogenation of pyridine derivatives 7,8-dihydro-quinolin-5(6H)-ones with high enantioselectivities (up to 97% ee).
