  • Abstract
    In the presence of RhH(PPh3)4 and 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane, tetramethyldiphosphine disulfide and aldehydes were added producing [1-(dimethylthiophosphinoyloxy)alkyl]dimethylphosphine sulfides in high yields. Acetophenones with electron-withdrawing p-groups also yielded 1,2-adducts.
