Abstract :
Deprotonation of the benzylic carbon of a chromium tricarbonyl complex of a benzyl ether followed by reaction with N-fluorobenzenesulfonimide (NFSI) generated a species that reacted with oxygen, sulfur and carbon nucleophiles.
