Abstract
Summary
only beginning to understand the significance and consequences of how the era of Quality Assurance Mechanisms is effecting nurse education. This paper argues that the later philosophy of Heidegger can teach us a lot regarding the underlying ‘calculative thinking’ which informs the administrative mind-set which nurse education has taken on hook, line, and sinker.
