Abstract :
Two new compounds, emervaridione and varioxiranediol, together with the three known compounds, stellatic acid, ergosterol and dihydroterrein, were isolated from the endophytic fungus, Emericella variecolor. The structures of emervaridione and varioxiranediol were established from spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic analysis.
