Abstract :
In conclusion, visual analysis of thallium-201 scans is of limited value in patients with syndrome X. Analysis of uptake and washout of thallium-201 may be useful in investigating the mechanism of chest pain in patients with syndrome X and normal-appearing thallium-201 scans. Additional information provided by this method of analysis may prove clinically useful.
