Abstract :
The cycloaddition of diazothioates to fullerene C60 has been investigated under thermal and catalytic conditions. The reaction between C60 and α-non-substituted diazothioates affords individual pyrazolino[60]fullerenes in contrast to 2-substituted diazothioates which give rise to [2+1] cycloadducts, exclusively.
