Cholesterol screening in the members of the hungarian parliament

The high proportion (49%) of male parliament members with high cholesterol levels (≥ 240 mg/dl) calls attention to their high risk for cardiovascular diseases. Our hope is that knowledge of their risk will improve their understanding concerning the importance of lifestyle and health promotion in Hungary.
