Abstract :
This study provides evidence that acute changes in stroke volume and cardiac output do not result in significant alterations in the anatomic AYA measured with multiplane TEE in patients with AS of moderate or severe degree. Thus, TEE could be useful in the assessment of severity of AS in both low- and high-output states.
