Abstract
The interaction and colorimetric sensing properties of a tetrathiafulvalene substituted calix[4]pyrrole sensor with anions were investigated using 1H NMR and absorption spectroscopic techniques. Visual color changes were observed upon addition of different anions (Cl−, Br−, CN−, and AcO−) to a solution of the sensor.
