Abstract :
In summary, patients who underwent bailout intracoronary stenting within 7 days of a myocardial infarction had lower clinical and angiographic success rates and a higher incidence of emergent coronary artery bypass graft surgery than patients who underwent bailout stenting without a history of a recent myocardial infarction. In addition, there was a trend toward more cardiac events after discharge in the patients who received stents after a recent myocardial infarction.
