Combined percutaneous carotid stenting and coronary angioplasty during acute ischemic neurologic and coronary syndromes

In conclusion, this case series demonstrates the feasibility of carotid stenting in patients with combined carotid and coronary narrowing during acute ischemic neurologic and coronary syndromes. Further study is warranted to determine safety and efficacy and to compare this procedure with carotid endarterectomy.
