Relation between dynamic midventricular obstruction and unexplained chest pain in patients with normal echocardiograms at rest

In summary, dynamic midventricular obstruction was provoked by dobutamine infusion in patients with unexplained chest pain with normal resting echocardiograms. The high provocation rate of chest pain was also demonstrated in such patients, and β-blocker therapy was effective in controlling both clinical chest pain and dobutamine-induced chest pain.
