Incidence, predictors, and consequences of coronary dissection following high-speed rotational atherectomy

These results suggest than dissection is a complication of HSRA that can be predicted by a set of 3 readily available clinical and angiographic variables. Dissection has an impact on major procedural complications, mostly the need for coronary bypass, but does not appear to predispose to abrupt vessel closure.
