Abstract
An efficient synthesis of alkyl 3-alkyl-5-(alkylimino)-4-hydroxy-2-thioxothiazolidine-4-carboxylates via a novel sequential four-component reaction between alkyl amines, CS2, and Nef-isocyanide adducts, under basic conditions, is described.
