Abstract :
Absorption and fluorescence excitation spectra of Xe/CF4 mixtures display numerous spectrally narrow bands coinciding with energies of the np- and nd-states of the Xe atom increased by the energy of one ν3-quantum (ν3 = 1281 cm−1) of CF4.
