Abstract :
In the dye-sensitized solar cell, a complex interface including the conductive glass, nano-TiO2 porous film and electrolyte, is formed at the conductive substrate of the anode. The impedance and kinetic information about the transfer of electrons at the conductive glass/nano-TiO2 film contact through electrochemical impedance spectroscopy are obtained in this Letter after shielding the influence of electrolyte. Results show that the time constant for the electron transfer across the TCO/TiO2 interface is about 10−6 s and the collection process of electrons is confined by the electron transport in nano-TiO2 film.
