Abstract
The purpose of this research is to study the influence of different pressures during synthesis processes on thermoelectric properties of synthesized Bi2Te3. The synthesis pressure has a significant effect on the preferred orientation and the texture of samples. The electrical and thermal properties of synthesized Bi2Te3 have been improved because of these effects. The maximum ZT of reaction products is 0.97 at 365 K, which is from a synthesized Bi2Te3 at 2 GPa in a short period. Therefore, we present that the synthesis processes of Bi2Te3 with pressure tuning are considered to be an effective approach for improving the thermoelectric performance.
