The Heck reaction in aqueous micelles

The Heck reaction was carried out in Triton X10 (TX10) aqueous micelles at 80 °C. The results indicated that the types of surfactant, the concentration of TX10 and the kinds of base played key roles in the reaction. The method provides several advantages, such as mild conditions, clear reaction profile, excellent yields and high stereoselectivities.
