Abstract :
CdCO3-dye hybrid nanotubes were successfully synthesized through a simple reflux process using Trypan Blue (TB) dye as template. The dye was crucial to the formation of CdCO3 hybrid nanotubes. The samples were characterized using thermogravimetric analysis, X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The effect of different aspects on the crystal morphology of the CdCO3–TB hybrid materials was primarily investigated. A rational mechanism was proposed for the selective formation of CdCO3–TB hybrid nanotubes.
