Abstract :
Biological and catalytically functional two-dimensional organic–inorganic hybrid materials with regular peptides were developed through the grafting of glutathione (GSH) and L-Proline (L-Pro), Pro-Pro-Asp-NH2 (PPA) in layered carboxyl propanamide phenylsilica (CPAPhS), which was developed in our previous research. The two-dimensional organic–inorganic hybrid material, p-glutathione-amide propanamide phenylsilica (GSH-APAPhS) showed favorable antioxidant capacity. The two-dimensional organic–inorganic hybrid materials, p-L-proline-amide propanamide phenylsilica (L-Pro-APAPhS) and p-Pro-Pro-Asp-amide propanamide phenylsilica (PPA-APAPhs) showed effective asymmetric catalytic ability in aldol reaction. This research exhibited the application potential of two-dimensional organic–inorganic hybrid materials with peptides in biological functions and catalytic reaction processes, and will facilitate the application of bioactive peptides in a broader range of fields.
