From internal resources to collective opportunities

This commentary essay explores some conceptual elements for research on new business formation as opportunity creation in resource networks and goes on to examine the methodological requirements of such research. Ciabuschi, Perna and Snehota (this issue) provide an interesting discussion and illuminating case study on new business formation through global resource combining in business networks. The rich, in-depth study opens several avenues for future research.
