Abstract :
We report results of 1H NMR measurements of proton mobility in α-, β-, and γ-polymorphs of glycine, including the energy barriers and specific correlation times for the amino group reorientation process. We discuss relations between second-order phase transition in β-glycine observed at 252 K and proton mobility in β-glycine crystals.
