Abstract :
Solid-state structures of three new coumarins: 7-[2-(N-benzyl-N-methylamino)ethoxy]-4-methylcoumarin (1), 6-acetyl-7-[2-(N-benzyl-N-methylamino)ethoxy]-4-methylcoumarin (2), 8-acetyl-7-[2-(N-benzyl-N-methylamino)ethoxy]-4-methylcoumarin (3) were analyzed using 13C CP/MAS NMR spectra. Derived stable conformations for all structures were compared with X-ray diffraction results for 2 using theoretical computation at DFT level.
