Representation of excess enthalpy data by the quasichemical model

A new model to describe the excess enthalpy in multicomponent systems based on the quasichemical approximation has been derived. It differs from previous approaches, mainly by taking into account variations in the coordination numbers of the components. The model has been applied to the correlation of binary excess enthalpy data and the prediction of ternary excess enthalpies from binary parameters. Its advantages over other models have been proved.
