Abstract :
In this study, mesoporous silica nanoparticles were synthesized based on the St?ber method. Effects of some processing parameters including reaction duration and catalyst concentration on the shape and morphology of synthesized nanoparticles were investigated. It was found that 50% decreasing in amount of catalyst (ammonia) leads to the production of smaller spherical silica nanoparticles approximately up to 61 %. By changing the time of the reaction no remarkable difference was observed among the sols.
