Abstract :
A green and highly efficient procedure is reported for the one pot synthesis of tetrahydrobenzo[b]pyran derivatives catalyzed by poly(4-vinylpyridine) as a heterogenous and recyclable basic catalyst under solvent-free conditions. This procedure provides many advantages such as recyclability of the catalyst, simple work-up, clean procedure, short reaction times and high yields of the products.
