Abstract :
The thermal conductivity of dimethyl carbonate in the liquid phase has been measured in the temperature range from 280 to 361 K at the atmospheric pressure by the transient hot-wire method with a bare platinum wire. The uncertainty of the results was estimated to be within ±2.0%, and the reproducibility of the data was better than ±0.5%. The liquid thermal conductivities obtained have been correlated as a function of the temperature, by a polynomial function whose absolute mean deviation from the experimental data was 0.11%, and maximum deviation was 0.27%.
