Abstract :
The vapor–liquid coexistence curve of HFC-227ea was measured in the temperature range from 326.56 K to the critical temperature. The critical temperature Tc=375.040±0.005 K and critical density ρc=590±5 kg m−3 were determined on the basis of the critical opalescence phenomenon, and then the critical pressure Pc=2930±1.5 kPa was extrapolated from vapor pressure equation proposed previously by authors. The saturated vapor densities of HFC-227ea were estimated by Virial equation combined with vapor pressure equation. The correlations of saturated vapor and liquid densities of HFC-227ea were developed on the basis of present work and literatures data. In addition, the correlation of saturated density in critical region was developed; the critical exponent β and critical amplitude B were determined on the basis of the power law.
