A PERIODIC PROBLEM OF THE INDENTATION OF A SYSTEM OF ELASTIC HALF-STRIPS INTO A STRIP

The problem of the elastic contact between a system of half-strips and a strip is reduced to the solution of a system of singular integral equations. The singular parts of the kernels of the integral equations are separated in the explicit form. The equation for the order of singularity of the solution is obtained. The numerical results are illustrated by plots.
