Abstract
The results of a numerical simulation of the process of deformation of a layered rock mass in the neighborhood of a well passing through an oil producing reservoir are presented in this paper. Just as in [1], we assume that the producing reservoir is a layer of a porous filler elastic medium of the sandstone type. Above and below this layer, impermeable or almost impermeable layers of a plastic material are located. Major attention is paid to the determination of the stress-strain slate in the producing reservoir with a well, in particular, to the determination of the domain in which the pressure compressing the porous layer is less than the rock pressure. The numerical solution was constructed by the finite element method, which permitted us to consider large deformations. The results of the numerical simulation can be helpful for the analysis of the stability of the initial shape of the well, the analysis of filtration processes near the well, and the design of the hydraulic fracturing of the producing reservoir.
