New investigations of organic compounds for targets with polarized hydrogen nuclei

Pentanol C5H12O, polyethylene (CH2)n and their deuterated analogues C5D12O and (CD2)n are proposed as target materials. Particular attention is paid to the production of materials in a glass-like (amorphous) state.
