Abstract :
For measurements of the 2-spin and 3-spin transfer parameters in the n-p system in the 300–600 MeV range, a large (100 cm3) frozen spin polarized target has been built and put into operation at PSI. The holding coil system allows a virtually arbitrary polarization direction, quick polarization reversal and large opening angles.
