Abstract :
From one side, health institutions are hosting a large number of people from different professional groups who interact with each other. On the other side, health institutions are a part of a complex environment which has different institutions and systems. Systems approach gave the possibility to health management of thinking to recognize and see the opportunities brought by the external environment. External environmental analysis in health institutions is a process which covering the studies about understanding changes and improvements that may occur in around the outside of health institution systems and predicting these changes and developments’ implications, opportunities and threats to the health care institutions. This study aims to define the external environment system of health care management and to determine the importance and the implementation of the external environment analysis in health care institutions as a step of strategic management through the systems approach perspective.
