Turkey’s Place and Its Developments in the World Countries In Terms of Health Tourism within the Last Five Years

Tourism is becoming more important for countries in the economic and social aspects. Tourism is coming fore as swimming and spending leisure time. But today tourism is coming fore as health care trips and vacations. Te primary objective of this study is to evaluate the progress of Turkey in terms of health tourism within the five years. As a result of this evaluation we will obtain the information about our country’s superiorities, risks-threats and also we have more stable and steady applications and targets. On the other hand current situation of health tourism in the world, interpretation of health tourism as a means of outsourcing and issues such as advantages and disadvantages of health tourism have been studied theoretical evaluation and examined from different sources. Especially Turkey’s advantages-disadvantages, future opportunities in the health tourism is discussed in the possibilities of diversification of the country’s tourism and alternative tourism opportunities.
