Abstract :
Some problems regarding of theoretical and computer-aided studies of integral characteristics of dynamic emission-imaging electron-optical systems (streak image tubes) are considered on the basis of perturbation theory. The first part of this work is devoted to the derivation of a spatial/temporal instrumental function by means of a τ-variations technique developed earlier. In the second part a general approach to computer simulations of Coulomb repulsion effects in streak image tubes is suggested. The approach is based on an approximation of the initial quasistationary self-coordinate boundary-value problem for the electric field and charged particles trajectories through a sequence of Cauchy problems for aberration expansion coefficients of electron beam in the τ-representation.
