Characterization of the wide-pitch ohmic-side readout for a silicon micro-strip detector

A study of the ohmic-side structure of a strip-type semiconductor detector is presented in terms of the capacitance matrix configuration and the signal-partitioning characteristics, which give a comprehensive picture of both narrow- and wide-pitch detectors with either a large or a small width-to-pitch ratio of the strip configuration.
