Abstract :
Numerical investigations of three-dimensional dynamical elastoplastic problems with large deformations are poorly presented in the literature. Moreover, most of the available works are devoted to applied problems [1-5]. As a rule, these works do not adequately take into account fracture, temperature effects, and phase transitions possible under shock wave loading. At the present time, there are more realistic models of elastoplastic materials which take into account porosity and also phase and chemical transformations [6, 7]. In combination with increased modern computer facilities, these models make it possible to solve problems of shock wave loading of deformable solids with the accuracy that was unattainable previously. In the present paper, we use a model taking into account fracture and temperature effects. The numerical analysis of the three-dimensional problem for nonsymmetric high-velocity contact interaction of deformable bodies with different densities is performed [8. 9].
