The neutron radiation hardness of diamond detectors for future particle physics experiments

Chemical vapour deposition diamond is a viable contender for certain detector applications in the next generation of particle accelerators. We show that it is radiation hard to MeV neutron irradiation up to levels exceeding 1.3 × 1015 n cm−2.
