Abstract :
Micro-Cathode Strip Chambers (MCSCs) have been proposed for the Inner Tracking System of the LHC-B detector. We discuss here how MCSCs could meet the requirements of the LHC-B experiment, in particular, spatial and time resolutions, occupancy, space charge effects and ageing.
