The backward radiation of charged particles

In the present paper the properties of the electro-magnetic radiation of relativistic charged particles in the backward directions are considered by methods of classical electrodynamics. Some new interesting features of the backward radiation were found and analyzed. Here it is shown that the backward radiation properties considerably diverge from the properties of the radiation in the forward direction. The polarization of the radiation in the backward directions was also investigated.
