Abstract :
We describe the electronic design and performance tests of a red perpex 4034 dose reader. The reader includes a very simple opto-mechanical device which allows one to separate reference and sample signals in the double beam instrument. The reader is able to measure doses with an accuracy adequate for most routine dose determinations.
