Abstract
A VLSI self-triggered readout chip, dedicated to high resolution beta ray imaging, as used in biology, is described. In the present 32 channels prototype version an ENC noise of 110e− + 20e−/pF has been obtained, with a power consumption of 2.5 mW/channel.
