THE ANTI-PLANE PROBLEM FOR A CRACK PROPAGATING WITH AN ARBITRARY SPEED IN AN ANISOTROPIC MEDIUM

A stress field is studied for a crack propagating in accordance with an arbitrary law in an anisotropic medium. The anti-plane problem is considered. It is shown that an integral equation on the boundary outside the crack coincides, apart from constant multipliers, with that of the isotropic problem. The stress intensity factors are given in the neighborhood of the crack tips.
