Abstract :
The NA48 liquid krypton calorimeter has been assembled in the last year, equipped with front-end electronics, calibration circuits and protection structures, and positioned in the experiment. First physics data are to be taken in the near future. The calorimeterʹs structure, its front-end electronics and calibration circuits are described, together with the performance of a prototype in a test-beam.
