Abstract
Batches of TLD-700 chips were irradiated with the fast neutrons from 241AmBe and 252Cf sources, energy degraded neutrons from the 241AmBe source moderated by light water and gamma rays from a 137Cs source. The net area under the deconvoluted high temperature (≈300°C) peak of neutron irradiated chips was observed to increase with the average neutron energy. A technique for the estimation of average neutron energy from the area under the deconvoluted high temperature glow peak is suggested.
