Abstract :
A two-dimensional focusing element based on a curved crystal Bragg-Fresnel lens was designed and successfully tested in the X-ray energy range of 15–20 keV on the Optics Beamline at the ESRF. A 4.5 × 9.1 μm2 wide focal spot was observed at 17.2 keV. The intensity in the focal spot was two orders of magnitude higher with respect to a flat linear Bragg-Fresnel lens.
