Asymmetrical optimum filters for charge measurements in presence of 1f current noise

The optimum filter for 1f current noise with no constraints on the position of the peaking time is presented in this work. In particular, the two lobes asymmetrical weighting functions of optimum filters for charge measurements have been identified, also in the presence of voltage and current 1f noises in addition to normally considered noise contributions. The corresponding equivalent noise charges have been investigated.
