Abstract
The applications of position-sensitive detectors to the radiometric determination of multi-phase flow media are identified. The paper focuses on the measurement of pneumatically conveyed solids. Interrogation using divergent and parallel-beam geometries is discussed using semiconductor and scintillation detector configurations.
